These rings are for those who have created great Websites. Not just single pages, not just lists of links or other webrings, but great sites. Good use of graphics and HTML. Original content. The subject or theme of the site doesn't matter (but the ring is for personal pages, not for commercial pages), as long as there IS a subject or theme and that theme or subject isn't one of the standard net no-nos.

First, choose whether you want to belong to the Ringsurf version or to the Webring version.

Be sure your site conforms to these rules:

Your site must not contain anything contrary to the "laws" of common decency. No hate pages, no defamatory pages, and no libelous pages will be considered. No nudity, no porn, no obscenity, no warez or other copyright violations. No exploitation of minors, no terror advocacy, no drugs and no instructions on how to create or use weapons or drugs of any kind.

No commercial pages will be considered.

The URL you sign up with must be the URL the ring code is on. If it isn't, the Automatic Ring Checker will suspend your site. You must have a valid email address in your ring profile information. If your email bounces twice, your site will be deleted from the ring.

Next, look at the two versions on this page. The first version is the RingSurf version, and the second version is the WebRing version.

After selecting the Ringsurf version, RIGHT click on the image and save it to your hard drive. Then LEFT click on the image to go to the sign up page.

You'll receive an email with the customized code on it. (Don't use the code on this page because it is not customized for your site.) Paste the code onto the page you designated in the submission form. Then upload the page and the image to the same directory on your website.

After the code and the image are uploaded to the correct site, email Ringmaster@Webrings-R.Us with the Ring ID OFTBSOTW and your site ID so your page can be evaluated and added to the ring.

After selecting the WebRing version below, click the Join Now link to go to the ring's add site. Complete the form, get your confirmation email, and then paste the code on your page. You don't need to save or upload the image; it comes right along with the code.

You'll receive an email with the customized code on it. Paste the code onto the page you designated in the submission form. You don't have to worry about the image, because WebRing serves up the image right along with the code. Just upload the newly saved page to your website.
